A cookie is a tiny file a website stores in your browser to remember you. NanoLink uses cookies for two reasons: to keep you signed in and to keep the platform secure.

1. Cookies we set

access_token — short-lived (15 minutes). Lets your browser prove you’re signed in on every request.
refresh_token — httpOnly, 7 days. Used only to get a new access token when the current one expires.
oauth_state — set briefly during Sign in with Google to prevent CSRF.

All three are strictly necessary for the Service to work. They’re first-party cookies (set by NanoLink), never shared with third-party ad networks.

2. What we don’t use

NanoLink does not use tracking cookies, third-party advertising cookies, or cross-site profiling. We do not embed Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, or similar tags on the marketing site.

Click analytics on your short links use an anonymized fingerprint stored server-side, not a browser cookie.

3. Controlling cookies

You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings. If you clear the auth cookies you’ll be signed out.

Blocking cookies from nanolink.site will stop you from signing in — the Service can’t work without them.

4. Changes

If we ever add optional cookies (for example, analytics that require consent), we’ll ask you first and update this page.
